Job descriptionDevelop and execute internal communication plans to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and culture. Draft and distribute internal newsletters, announcements to keep employees informed and engaged. Co-ordinate with department heads to gather information and updates for internal communication materials. Manage internal communication platforms and promotions to facilitate employee engagement and interaction. Draft compelling external communication materials, including press releases, articles, newsletters, and blog posts to enhance brand visibility and reputation. Monitor industry trends and news to identify opportunities for effective external communications. Plan, create, and execute email marketing newsletters and mailers to nurture leads, promote products / services, and drive engagement. Analyse email performance metrics and open rates. Develop engaging social media copy for various platforms, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Monitor social media channels and relevant industry forums for brand mentions, comments, and messages, responding promptly and appropriately. Write and edit high-quality content for various purposes, including website copy, and marketing collateral. Collaborate with internal teams to develop content that resonates with target audiences and supports marketing and sales objectives. Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and style. Assist in organising events and activations by developing promotional materials and managing communication logistics. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in communication to continuously improve strategies and tactics.
The Communications Co-ordinator, will play a key role in drafting and executing the Communication strategies. This will include Co-ordinating and implementing internal and external communication strategies, ensuring consistency, clarity, and engagement across all channels.
Requirements :
- A bachelor's degree in communication, or a related field is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in communications and a proven track record in the industry.
- Ability to work irregular hours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Drivers licence is essential
