Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 23 years experience in marketing, preferably in the education or services sector
- Demonstrated experience in managing digital campaigns and social media accounts
- Graphic design and content creation skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) would be an advantage
- Valid drivers license, essential for school visits and events
Key duties and responsibilities
Provide overall academic leadership, ensuring alignment with the institutions mission, vision, and regulatory requirements (CHE, DHET, ECSA)Lead the development and review of academic policies, procedures, and strategiesEnsure programmes are industry-aligned, compliant with NQF / HEQSF standards, and support clear articulation and progression pathwaysOversee the quality assurance and programme review functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, while delegating day-to-day QA processes to the Quality Assurance OfficerSupport and manage academic staff through recruitment, professional development, fair workload distribution, and performance managementOversee student administration, academic advising, student support initiatives, performance monitoring, progression, and the management of appeals or misconduct casesProvide support to lecturers in teaching delivery, academic administration, and student engagementAct as the key liaison with regulatory bodies, professional associations, industry partners, and internal governance structuresSupport marketing and recruitment initiatives for academic programmesPrepare reports for management, committees, and regulatory bodiesLead re-accreditation and audit preparations in collaboration with relevant staffManage academic budgets and resources effectivelyContribute to general campus administration, operational management, and broader management functionsUndertake ad hoc duties as required to support the institutions operations#J-18808-Ljbffr
