Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to NACOSA and implementing partners for the day-to-day use of fleet vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate the setup, maintenance, and user training of specialised vehicle systems (e.g., waste management, clinical compartments).
- Ensure compliance with fleet regulations, safety standards, and organisational policies.
- Monitor vehicle usage, coordinate maintenance, and manage tracking systems to detect misuse or unsafe driving.
- Maintain accurate asset records, including laptops, furniture, and medical equipment, across all offices.
- Conduct regular asset audits, coordinate transfers / disposals, and support procurement planning.
- Support fleet and asset budgeting, and assist with cost tracking, claims, and financial reporting.
- Update trackers and prepare regular reports on vehicle servicing, licensing, driver behaviour, and asset utilisation.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Procurement teams to streamline processes and ensure accurate documentation.
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks and stand in for colleagues or managers when needed.
Job Requirements
Required qualifications, skills and experience
Post-Matric qualification in Fleet Management, Logistics, or related field.Bachelor's degree advantageous.Minimum 3 years’ experience in fleet and asset administration.Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair scheduling, tracking systems, and health & safety regulations.Experience in NGOs, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors is beneficial.Proficient in MS Office; ERP / finance systems (e.g., Netsuite) experience an advantage.Fluent in English and at least one other South African language (African language preferred).Valid Code C1 driver's license with no endorsements.Key Competencies and Attributes
