Our client, who is a national JSE listed business, is looking for a operationally minded accountant. This role is critical within the division to ensure accurate reporting and seamless operations. If you love working with autonomy and getting things done apply today!

Job Description :

Your duties and responsibilities will include :

• Full finance function
• Budgets and forecasting
• Cashflow management
• Continuous process improvements
• Team management – team of 4
• Full tax compliance
• GL reconciliations
• Month end process and close
• Preparing the annual financial statements
• Assist the procurement department
• BEE planning and implementation
• Insurance claims
• Payroll deductions

Skills & Experience :

Willing to travel every quarter

Sage X3 – beneficial

Solutions Driven

Attention to detail

Work independently

Positive team player

Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, Mining experience

Qualification :

BCom Accounting degree + SAICA articles – non negotiable

3 -5 years experience post articles in a similar role

TCTC : R400 000 - R700 000 (incl pension fund, optional medical aid)
