Role Description : This full‑time, on‑site role is based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. As a Valve Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing valve systems, creating detailed engineering drawings, and ensuring that designs meet industry standards and regulations. Day‑to‑day tasks include collaborating with other engineers and departments, conducting tests to verify product performance, and refining designs based on test results and feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design and engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for valve systems
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Prior experience in the valve design or industrial processing sector is a plus
