Senior Business Development Coordinator – Johannesburg
We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to drive market intelligence, prospecting and lead generation within the built environment.
Responsibilities
- Market Research and Strategy : Identify key channels, projects, competitors, and stakeholders.
- Maintain a CRM database of decision-makers.
- Product and Industry Knowledge : Develop expertise in our product range, industry standards (SANS), and competitor analysis.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation : Plan and coordinate outreach efforts, qualify leads, and schedule meetings for Specifiers.
- Relationship Building : Engage with professionals, understand their needs, and communicate value propositions effectively.
- Reporting and CRM Management : Capture interactions, track progress, and provide regular feedback to management.
- Growth and Contribution : Align personal development with business impact and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.
Minimum Requirements
Education : Degree / Diploma in the Built Environment or a BCom, or BBA.Experience : 7-10 years in business development, sales, or technical sales within the built environment.Skills : Strong research, analytical, and communication skills; CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred); ability to understand technical concepts.Character Traits : Team player, detail-oriented, patient and proactive in relationship building.Fluent in both English and Afrikaans.#J-18808-Ljbffr
