Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle OR reliable transport
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial administration
- Knowledge of SARS regulations, VAT submissions, FICA compliance, and PAYE processes
- Computer literacy (MS Office, especially Excel)
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and on timePrepare, review, and submit VAT returns in full compliance with SARS regulations, identifying any discrepancies and resolving them promptlyEnsure compliance with FICA legislation by maintaining proper documentation and conducting necessary verifications for clients and employeesManage payroll processes, including calculating salaries, overtime, and deductions, processing payments, and submitting PAYE and other statutory deductions accurately and on scheduleReconcile bank statements, monitor cash flow, and ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded and balancedGenerate detailed financial reports for management, highlighting key insights, trends, and areas for improvementAssist with internal and external audits, providing accurate supporting documentation and explanations as requiredLiaise with SARS and other relevant authorities regarding tax queries, compliance issues, and submissionsMonitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collectionsMaintain confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy of all financial and company information, adhering to professional and ethical standardsContinuously review financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy within the half-day work scheduleRemuneration
