Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team, with a core focus on power distribution and power quality. You will work alongside product and automation specialists to deliver technical solutions to the industrial and commercial sector, support ongoing R&D, and be a key contributor in the evolution of our energy portfolio. This is not just a design office job : you will have a real impact across technical support and solution architecture, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Electrical System Design :

Lead the design and specification of electrical and automation projects, with a strong emphasis on power distribution, power quality correction, and MCC assemblies.

Participate in solution architecture and execution, from initial feasibility and costing to handover and troubleshooting.

Provide level 3 technical support for the power product portfolio, acting as an expert resource for both customers and internal teams.

Engage in the research, development, and enhancement of new and existing product solutions within the power and energy markets.

Support the sales team with technical input on proposals and customer engagements.

Assist the Engineering Manager with team deliverables, freeing up management capacity and mentoring Junior Engineers as required.

Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies relevant to electrical power distribution and automation.
