Account Manager Roles and Responsibilities :
Strategic Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between client(s) and the agency, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals
- Develop and execute a monthly strategy to meet the invoicing target, utilising the available budget effectively and efficiently.
- Proactively identify opportunities for any ad hoc projects to increase monthly invoicing revenue.
- Plan and implement campaigns that align with client(s) core pillars.
Budget and Financial Oversight
- Manage the fixed monthly marketing budget and allocate any remaining ‘kitty’ strategically for additional campaigns and projects.
- Monitor spend vs. revenue generation to ensure all financial targets are met.
- Approve and track expenditures related to campaigns, ensuring no overspending occurs.
- Maintain accurate records of monthly financial performance, including underspend carryovers or adjustments to align with annual targets..
Campaign and Project Management
- Oversee the execution of fixed monthly deliverables, including but not limited to :
- Social media posts, community management, mailers, and boosted content strategies.
- SEO-optimised articles and website updates.
- Monthly email campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
- Coordinate the production of ad hoc deliverables, such as brochures, videos, advertorials, and competitions, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and media specialists to ensure all assets align with client(s) brand standards.
Client Relations and Communication
- Maintain regular, transparent communication with client(s) through weekly status meetings and updates.
- Address client(s) feedback and requests promptly, ensuring continuous satisfaction.
- Prepare and present detailed monthly performance reports, including campaign outcomes, engagement metrics, and financial results.
Content and Collateral Management
- Develop and manage content calendars for social media, email marketing, articles and publications.
- Review and approve all creative briefs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of press articles and advertisements in industry-relevant publications.
Team Leadership and Collaboration / CMS
- Act as a central coordinator between the agency team, client(s), and external vendors.
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members where necessary.
- Effective time management and tracking.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Compile and analyse campaign performance metrics, offering actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Track ROI on campaigns and projects, providing feedback to optimise future efforts.
- Monitor website traffic, email engagement, and social media analytics to identify trends and areas of opportunity.
Additional Account Management (Future)
- Prepare to take on an additional client account(s) in the near future, ensuring scalability in workload and resource allocation.
- Establish processes to seamlessly manage multiple accounts without compromising the quality of service..
