Job Description & Summary At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.
Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

Main Purpose
The position requires the incumbent to provide Income Tax and VAT services. This person might also be involved in tax compliance services.

Liaising with colleagues and clients to provide tax consulting servicesManaging a range of tax assignments reporting to managers and directorsPerforming IT and VAT reviews / audit documentation as part of statutory auditsPerforming IT and VAT related researchInterpreting IT and VAT legislationLiaising with SARS and handling queries raised by SARS if neededImplement methodologies, standards and processes on all assignment to ensure quality.Identify opportunities and understand businessComplying with risk management proceduresBilling client workPerforming general project administrationQualification / Education
