Position Overview :
On behalf of a regional hospital in Canada, we are seeking experienced Internal Specialists to take up full-time positions located in Eastern Ontario. The successful candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing and treating internal diseases and contribute to the hospital's mission of improving patient health and wellness. Examples of specialist jobs include General Internists and subspecialists including Cardiologists, Respiratory, GI, and Endocrinology
Specialist Roles :
The successful candidate is expected to join the existing internists to provide consults to inpatient units and emergency departments and participate in the department’s on-call schedule. There is also an opportunity to operate a clinic available to the community through referrals from primary care.
POSITION INFO :
Employment requirements
- Holds a MBChB and a Masters of Medicine in their speciality from a South African medical school that is recognized by the World Directory of Medical Schools.
- HPCSA - Certificate of Good Standing; and Certificate of Registration as a medical practitioner.
- English as a first language.
- 2-3 experience in specialty or as a general internal specialist.
