Medical Technician/Technologist/Laboratory Scientist (Microbiology) – N1 City, Cape Town

Key Competency Requirements

• 3-year Biomedical Technology diploma/4-year Medical Laboratory Scientist degree or Medical Technician Certificate in Clinical Pathology/Microbiology
• Current registration with the HPCSA in Clinical Pathology/Microbiology
• Computer literate with Meditech knowledge is advantageous
• Must have at least 1 year of Microbiology experience post HPCSA registration
• Must have experience with basic trouble shooting on instruments
• Client-focused with excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Display initiative
• Problem-solving ability
• Stress resistance and tenacity
• Result-orientated
• Adaptability
• Must be fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaans
• Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
