Quality Engineer

Job descriptionNational Diploma / Degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related field . 35 years experience in quality engineering or assurance in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments. Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, or other quality standards . Experience in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and process improvement tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with QMS software or ERP systems is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in line with ISO, GMP, and company standards.
- Conduct quality audits , inspections, and process assessments.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support new product development and production changes to ensure quality compliance.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances; implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production processes and product quality.
- Maintain documentation, records, and reports related to quality control and assurance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in supplier quality management and vendor assessments.
