Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the Credit Risk Technology team as a Product Owner. This role requires a strong background in business analysis and SCRUM, with a focus on delivering technology projects and driving successful outcomes. The candidate will have a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring user stories meet the business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum 5 years' Product Owner or Business Analyst experience in a financial institution
  • Minimum 5 years' experience of working on cross geographical projects
  • Scrum master experience
  • Experience working in a tech delivery team
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Strong Requirements Analysis & System Analysis
  • Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Manage communication with the delivery team members, platform team, and external stakeholders
  • Provide reporting on all features and projects
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time while working on multiple projects

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Education / Qualifications

  • BCom Information Systems, BSc in Computer Science, or other relevant qualification
  • Formal qualification in Business Analysis is highly desirable
  • SCRUM accreditation advantageous

  • Project Management experience
  • Exposure to Azure / Cloud environments
  • Business Intelligence (BI)
  • Collaboration & productivity tools - Azure DevOps, Miro, and Confluence

  • Ability to build a strong partnership with stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and technologies to varied stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources
  • Excellent critical / complex thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Loves working in a team and collaborating with people to make things happen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
