A leading public sector organisation is on the lookout for a Principal Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation and aligning business and technology strategies. Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Acting as a strategic advisor to senior business and technology leaders
  • Defining and maintaining enterprise architecture standards roadmaps and frameworks
  • Identifying emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on business strategy
  • Leading cross-functional teams in the design of integrated solutions aligned with business goals
  • Promoting best practices in enterprise architecture governance and stakeholder engagement

What Were Looking For :

  • A postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in IT Informatics Computer Science Engineering or Finance with 10 years experience in IT including 3-4 years at a specialist level; or
  • A relevant bachelors degree (NQF 7) with 15 years experience in IT including senior specialist exposure
  • At least 10 years in enterprise architecture roles
  • TOGAF 9 certification (required). Microsoft or CISCO certification is essential
  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and tools. IBM technology knowledge is a plus
  • Strong leadership analytical thinking stakeholder management and communication skills
