Maintenance Manager - Poultry Farm

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Maintenance Manager - Poultry Farm who is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities on the poultry farm to ensure the efficient operation of equipment, buildings, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as experience in managing a team of maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities :

• Organizing and coordinating daily duties in terms of maintenance.
• Guiding Assistant Maintenance manager and supervisors to see to their daily duties.
• Identifying maintenance needs and assisting with maintenance.
• Controlling, supervising, and planning house preparation and cleaning.
• Crisis Management ensuring that all portable electrical equipment is safe as per daily duty.
• Ensuring weekly and daily checklist is completed for various equipment.
• Ensuring that all monthly checklists are complete, including testing of equipment.
• Completing preventive Maintenance on a monthly basis.
• Taking stock of all equipment and consumables and keeping records.
• Ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems are in good working condition.
• Ensuring that all employees are following company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring houses are thoroughly prepared before housing.
• Relieving the Electrical on weekends and leave periods.
• Keeping maintenance list of all motors and generators on the farm up to date.
• Conducting maintenance and repairs within your scope in newly built or current houses.
• Building new chicken houses and installing and commissioning all new equipment into houses.
