What you will be doing :
- Contribute practical knowledge to Product Backlog Refinement (PBR) and Sprint Planning.
- Design and create robust test plans, test cases, and regression scripts.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to prepare and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) handovers to business teams.
- Conduct and engage in walkthrough sessions to ensure shared understanding and alignment on requirements.
- Actively collaborate and communicate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Work closely with Development and Business QA to facilitate efficient development, testing, and smooth deployment cycles, including critical updates like patches and hotfixes.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, Product Backlog Refinement, Sprints, etc.)
What our client is looking for :
A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.3-5 years of software testing experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on specific technologies.A solid understanding of the Life Insurance sector.Capable of performing performance and security testing, with proficiency in tools such as Postman (including authentication), Pilotfish, and Hyphen.Proficient in Postman for API testing and JIRA for comprehensive bug and project tracking.Proficient in performing regression testing, and familiar with Scribe for documentation / test management and Gherkin for behavior-driven development (BDD) test specification.Experience with test management tools, proficiency in SQL queries, and an understanding of code-based testing.
