About The Company

We are a high-growth startup rapidly building our core infrastructure and are now focused on scaling our revenue and brand presence. Our founder has personally managed all sales, marketing, and social media since inception and is now ready to relinquish control of these crucial functions to the right key person. We are looking for an exceptional, driven individual to work directly alongside the founder to take full ownership of the marketing and sales vertical. This is a rare, no‑ego, go‑getter role designed to transition into a true executive leadership position.

The Opportunity : The Sole Impact Driver

This is a unique, hybrid position for a strategic operator – a true “doer” who thinks tactfully and is hungry to see how far they can grow. We need someone who is not above any task, from content upload to high-level planning. This role is a massive opportunity for someone who is scrappy, hard‑working, and wants to be the sole impact driver of marketing (and therefore improving sales). The founder has already promoted their Executive Assistant into the Head of Ops role, demonstrating the value placed on internal growth and high performers.

You will immediately take control of the marketing function, thinking tactfully, executing on tasks, and continuing to grow your responsibilities and the marketing team so you can take things off the founder’s plate. Success in this role means improving sales, setting the long‑term vision, and growing into a true leadership position with autonomy over Creative, Development, and other teams.

We are looking for a candidate with the strategic maturity of 8‑10 years of experience who is ready to run the department but hasn’t had the opportunity yet.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Revenue Optimization (CRO / CMO Focus)

  • Performance Optimization – direct understanding and success in optimizing campaigns, landing pages, and data for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). Requires a strong CMO / Sales Manager mindset.
  • Sales Alignment – work directly to help lead the sales team, aligning marketing efforts directly with sales goals (Marketing feeds Sales).
  • Testing & Management – manage the testing and optimization of all marketing assets and landing pages, provide vision for landing page optimization, and manage the testing schedule.
  • Data & Reporting – create and manage data dashboards, consistently track campaign performance and use data to drive tactical adjustments.

Content, Brand, and Campaign Execution (The “Doer” Work)

  • Social Media Execution – plan and execute comprehensive social media campaigns and content schedules.
  • Creative Asset Execution – leverage available creative material to create and execute on social media and campaigns.
  • Creative Briefs – adept at creating and managing campaign briefs for the in‑house design team.
  • Copywriting – bring experience with copywriting and an innate sense of what hits with the target audience.
  • Founders’ Support – help the founder build out the athlete sponsorship program and manage the podcast appearance schedule.
  • Leadership & Growth Trajectory

  • No Ego – be the definitive “doer” who manages day‑to‑day operations, including content uploads, minor content editing, and execution – someone who is not hesitant to dive into the nitty‑gritty work.
  • In‑House Capacity – drive the vision for building out our in‑house capacity so we can transition away from relying on agencies.
  • Future Leadership – grow into coordinating and leading the Development, Design, and other Creative / Sales teams that will be built out under their future leadership.
  • Ideal Profile

  • Strategic & Tactical Thinker – must be able to think tactfully, make an action plan, execute on that, and learn from it to continue progress upward.
  • Experience & Growth Mindset – possesses the strategic maturity typically seen after 8‑10 years of experience in Marketing / Sales Management (flexible for scrappy candidates).
