Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year B-Degree (equivalent or higher) in Financial Accounting or related; A minimum of 3 years supervisory level experience in a financial accounting or similar environment.
Competencies
Knowledge of the following : Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) National Treasury Regulations and Provincial Treasury Instructions; Public Service Act 1994 as amended; Basic Conditions of Employment Act; Relevant systems (Basic Accounting System and Logistical Information System).
Skills needed : Written and verbal communication; Proven computer literacy; Numeracy and literacy; Project management; Accounting finance and audit.
