Chief Engineer - Chief Engineer Officer ( <3 000 kW) Ref: 4153

Youll be responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and repair of all engineering equipment aboard a fishing vessel. This includes overseeing the main engines, generators, and auxiliary systems to ensure they function efficiently and safely. The role involves careful coordination with the Captain and other departments to maintain uninterrupted fishing and processing operations. Youll also manage safety procedures and compliance with maritime regulations, supervise engineering crew and ensure that maintenance routines are followed accurately.

Applicants must have a SAMSA CoC, along with auxiliary certifications. A minimum of 5 years experience in marine engineering, particularly within the fishing industry, is required.
