Job description

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Business Architect to design align and optimise business processes and solutions that support organisational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business architecture solution design and data management supported by recognised industry certifications and extensive hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyse and document business requirements processes and systems.
  • Develop and maintain business architecture frameworks aligned to enterprise strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective business and IT solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of business architecture with data management principles and industry best practices.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and enterprise architecture projects.
  • Provide expertise in cloud-based architecture (AWS Azure) and data governance frameworks.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

  • Qualification : Minimum NQF Level 7 in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration Commerce Business or Engineering.

    • Certifications (any of the following) :

  • TOGAF 9
  • AWS Solution Architect
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
  • Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBok)

    • Experience :

  • More than 7 years experience as a Business Analyst and Business Architect.
  • Proven track record in designing business architecture frameworks and translating business needs into solution requirements.

    • Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong business process modelling and analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in solution design and data governance practices.
  • Ability to bridge business and technology needs effectively.

    • Experience : More than 7 years experience as a Business Analyst and Business Architect. Proven track record in designing business architecture frameworks and translating business needs into solution requirements.

    Education

    Qualification : Minimum NQF Level 7 in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Business, or Engineering. Certifications (any of the following) : TOGAF 9 AWS Solution Architect Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBok)
