Job Responsibilities
- Assisting in new projects with the establishment of Product Safety, aiming for complete implementation of actions / corrective actions to vehicle safety requirements to prevent repeat failures using the Product Safety catalogue (lessons learnt).
- Inspecting pre-series units in conjunction with other Q-type responsible PSBs to expedite safety-relevant problem recognition and corrective action implementation.
- Undertaking regular vehicle and line checks to evaluate current production (parts, part assemblies, and sub-assemblies) and obtain corrective actions for any potential safety-relevant problems detected.
- Representing the interest of the Quality Assurance Department during technical discussions with Service and the Product Safety Committee.
- Ensuring, initiating, and / or assisting in the establishment of corrective actions to resolve problems, tracking and monitoring the implementation of agreed actions and verifying effectiveness within Production / Field with the Service Department.
Desired Experience & Qualification
QUALIFICATION :
National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.EXPERIENCE :
3-5 years’ relevant experience in the automotive industry within Production / Product Engineering / Quality environment.Knowledge of vehicle functions (Body, powertrain, chassis, electrical).Ability to process and analyse complex data.Excellent report writing and presentation skills.Ability to communicate and present at all levels within the organisation.Self-starter with the ability to work independently.Ability to make informed decisions and appoint accountability on behalf of the client.EMAIL : UPDATED CV + COPIES OF QUALIFICATIONS
