Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic Actuarial Analyst to join a leading Short-Term insurer in Cape Town. You will be responsible for providing support across all actuarial disciplines within the short-term insurance sector, with a focus on underwriting risk management, pricing, segmentation, reinsurance models, capital modeling, and reserving. Your duties will include :

• Collecting, managing, and reporting data
• Conducting experienced investigations
• Modeling reinsurance, reserving, and assessing capital requirements
• Implementing predictive modeling and client segmentation
• Enhancing automation and integration of risk systems and reporting
• Managing underwriting risk, pricing, and segmentation
• Promoting risk awareness throughout the organization
• Creating reports and providing management information
