System Analyst

To provide expertise and advice to support the development of operational implementation plans and associated service delivery processes, methods and techniques in the design of new IT solutions, modification, enhancement or adaption of existing systems and integration of new features or improvements, with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity, contributing to client / customer satisfaction, optimal profitability, reduced risk and compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Requirements Analysis : Understand and document the specific business needs that an information system must address
• System Design : Translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs for software and hardware solutions
• System Development & Implementation : Oversee the entire system development life cycle, from concept to deployment
• Testing & Troubleshooting : Test new and existing systems to ensure functionality and efficiency and troubleshoot any issues
• User Support : Provide training and create instruction manuals for end-users to help them utilize new or updated systems effectively
• Technology Evaluation : Research and evaluate new technologies, software, and hardware to identify potential improvements
• Cost Benefit Analysis : Prepare and present reports on the costs and benefits of proposed IT projects and upgrades to management
• Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with various stakeholders, including department heads, users, and IT teams, to ensure systems align with business objectives
