Overview

Cybersecurity Instructor for USA market (full-time) position at TripleTen. TripleTen is a remote-first service that empowers individuals to master tech professions through bootcamps in software engineering, data science, business intelligence analytics, cybersecurity and QA engineering. Instructors mentor students, help with difficult concepts and assignments, and teach the skills necessary to become great cybersecurity professionals. The program supports students from diverse backgrounds and aims to help them succeed in their future careers in cybersecurity.

What you will do

  • Host regular live Q&A sessions to help students unblock and progress confidently
  • Offer personalized support through 1 : 1 video calls to answer questions and guide assignments
  • Occasionally respond to student questions via direct messages
  • Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry-relevant skills
  • Share professional insights and best practices to support the learning community
  • Review student projects and provide feedback based on program standards
  • Write clear, actionable feedback to help students improve and meet expectations
  • Support students in text by explaining concepts, troubleshooting code, and clarifying project or review questions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field. Experience with tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Splunk, ELK, and more. Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Oracle VirtualBox) and cloud technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud security tools like CrowdStrike, Cisco SecureX, Prisma Cloud, and more
  • Experience in incident response and crisis management within a business environment
  • 3+ years of experience working in tech industry (experience with the U.S. market is a plus) and exposure to cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ISO, and other regulatory frameworks
  • Availability for full-time collaboration (approximately 40 hours per week)
  • A genuine passion for teaching, sharing knowledge, and staying up to date with the evolving field of Cybersecurity
  • Fluent English : strong spoken communication is essential for directly engaging with English-speaking students

  • Experience as a student online and the desire to help create the best place in the world to study Cybersecurity

  • Fixed monthly compensation of $2,800-$3,500
  • Fully remote role with a consistent weekly schedule, 8-hour workdays, five days a week, scheduled between 10 AM and 2 AM ET (Mon–Sun). Exact hours to be confirmed during interview
