The Role : Sales Representative

This role is focused on driving new business development while managing and growing existing client relationships within the hospitality and food services sector. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets through proactive engagement, tailored proposals, and value-driven selling strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in the hospitality sector

Maintain and grow strong relationships with existing customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business

Present compelling sales proposals and close deals with new and existing clients

Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and profitability goals

Negotiate annual rate increases in line with company expectations

Prepare accurate sales reports and track performance metrics

Conduct market research and identify trends and opportunities

Prepare and deliver professional quotations and tailored proposals

Stay informed on product offerings, market developments, and competitor activities

Plan and execute personal sales strategies effectively

Provide expert product advice and support to clients

About You

  • Minimum of 3 years' proven external sales experience (preferably in FMCG or hospitality)
  • Strong new business development background with measurable success, must provide proof of targets met or exceeded
  • A tertiary qualification in sales or marketing is advantageous
  • Valid drivers license

Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills

Self-motivated, driven, and target-oriented ("hunter" mentality)

Strong negotiator with experience engaging decision-makers

Able to work independently and collaboratively

Professional, presentable, and solutions-focused

Computer literate with solid administrative and planning skills
