Project Engineer - Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems
We are seeking a Project Engineer to handle projects from enquiry to completion, manage construction programmes, and liaise with sub-contractors and clients.
- Ability to handle projects from enquiry to completion.
- Ability to manage a construction programme and report accordingly.
- Effectively manage the installation works on site whilst liaising with both sub-contractors and clients.
- Undertake relevant H & S duties, such as safe starts and tool box talks.
- Liaise with manufacturing, design, and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.
- Highlight any problem areas and communicate them to the relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with codes, practices, and specifications.
- Complete Quality Assurance documentation and report snags to sub-contractors.
- Delegate tasks to team members.
- Undertake commercial responsibilities on projects.
- Perform any other duties commensurate with the position.
Person Specification
Candidates should demonstrate the necessary qualifications, experience, skills, and traits to meet the requirements below.
Qualifications : A Levels or equivalent qualifications are desirable.Experience : Industry experience in installation, commissioning, or administration is essential.Skills / Abilities : Ability to efficiently manage project delivery, excellent eye for detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.Other : Enthusiasm and willingness to learn, flexibility in approach to working hours, and a full and valid driving license are desirable.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
