RPOs client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Sales Planner to join their dynamic agricultural business based in Paarl Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have experience in fresh produce commodities a strong grasp of ERP systems and the ability to align crop estimates with customer demand through seamless coordination between packhouses field sites and logistics.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and capture sales orders on NetSuite ensuring vessel splits and post-loading allocations are correctly processed.
 - Maintain air and sea freight order sheets and coordinate weekly container forecasts and daily space bookings.
 - Lead daily stock meetings with packhouses resolve discrepancies and ensure order fulfilment is aligned with delivery specifications.
 - Issue packing instructions confirm order readiness with logistics and reallocate as needed.
 - Allocate pallets for outbound shipments based on client-specific requirements.
 - Keep grower information up to date and support grower reviews packaging and brand planning and packing guide updates.
 
Minimum Requirements
BComm Degree in Marketing, Logistics, International Trade or similar relevant qualification.35 years experience in the fresh produce industry with a focus on fruit commodities (essential).Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP systems and advanced in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong organisational and planning skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication skills and a professional discreet approach to relationship management.Ready to take on a challenge and join a dynamic teamKey Skills
