Job descriptionMonitor and report on land use related matters and recommend best engineering practices Assist with Road and Stormwater planning in your area of accountability Commenting on Land‑Use applications, including Rezonings, Subdivisions, Consent‑Use Applications, SDP's and Building Plans. Prepare comments on Land use applications and calculate external road and stormwater contributions Ensure good engineering standard is maintained across the city and all developers comply with the same regulation. Ensure required services for township are installed and maintained Ensure service agreements between township owners or developers are set up Issue Occupation, Regulation 38 and Section 82 Certificates at various stages of development Draft a multi‑year capital investment program related to Roads and Stormwater Engineering and ensure that supply chain processes are adhered to as per MFMA Ensure Traffic Impact Study requirements and Storm‑Water Management Plan recommendations are adhered to and assets created on City's behalf comply to the City's standards Ensure effective administration of the section, optimum utilization of resources and compliance of council and departmental policies Ensure effective management of the section, optimum utilization of resources, compliance with council and departmental policies and Batho Pele principle
