Our client, leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is looking for an Online Integration Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and proactive individual who takes initiative and takes an analytical approach with problem-solving.
The incumbent will take responsibility for IT functions that directly impact client relationships and require quick turnaround times. The primary focus will be on integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between systems, and providing technical support throughout the process. This role does not involve coding or development but requires a strong understanding of technical documentation, solution design, and client consultation.
Key requirements
- Relevant tertiary IT qualification;
- Approximately 3 years' experience in a similar role, including experience in SQL, IT systems monitoring, MS Office suite (specifically MS Excel), and customer support;
- Experience in the Financial Services industry : a focus in the payments industry and the understanding of reconciliation and settlement processes will be beneficial;
Additional requirements :
Own reliable transport;Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and a good understanding of Afrikaans. Any additional language will be seen as beneficialStable internet connection required; fibre connection advantageous (to handle queries remotely from home, if required).Responsibilities include the following :
Supporting and stage monitoring of the Biller IntegrationsParticipating in various IT integration functionsAd Hoc report generation using SQLMonitoring transaction irregularities in the value chain from Retailer to BillerConsulting with clients to guide them through integration requirements and processesProviding technical support to clients post-integration, including troubleshooting and issue resolutionEnsuring seamless connectivity between systems and assisting clients through the integration processUnderstanding technical documentation and solution design to advise clients effectivelyInvestigating application logs and conducting test transactions in live environmentsCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve integration related issuesAny other relevant duties related to the roleGeneral
