Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform costing functions including volume, price, and cost analysis
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of process constraints, margin analysis, and target costing projects
  • Validate cost of goods sold during month-end close
  • Maintain ERP system (Master Item List, Bill of Material, Item Standards)
  • Execute ERP month-end procedures including Close and Adjust, and Production End-Jobs Reconciliation
  • Review and audit Bills of Materials (BOMs) to align with current manufacturing practices
  • Analyze labour and overhead rates, budgets, and forecasts; recommend improvements for cost allocations
  • Prepare product-wise profit and loss statements and monthly factory reconciliations
  • Compile monthly performance and cost reports
  • Oversee stock management and provide support to the Finance Department

Requirements :

  • BCom Degree or Diploma in Cost & Management Accounting (CIMA qualification advantageous) / BTech
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Syspro knowledge (essential)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide accurate reporting
