Solid Edge Design Engineer

Requirements :

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering , Industrial Design , or related field.

Proven experience as a CAD Designer / Design Engineer , preferably using Solid Edge.

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes .

Proficiency in creating and interpreting technical drawings and specifications .

Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and 3D printing.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities .

Duties :

Develop 3D models and assemblies using Solid Edge, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design requirements.

Produce technical drawings, schematics, and detailed specifications for manufacturing.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and optimization .

Conduct design simulations and revisions to improve product performance and reliability.

Maintain design documentation and adhere to company engineering standards.

Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes .

Stay updated with latest CAD technologies, design trends, and manufacturing methods .

Experience in product development and R&D projects .

Familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Exposure to simulation tools for stress analysis or motion studies.
