Job Purpose :
To achieve budget sales and profitability results through the effective roll out of strategies for Retail / IDP Pharmacies andPharmacy groups, in line with the Bayer Consumer strategyDevelop and implement plans to assist customers to grow and achieve sales targets.Ensure maximum brand exposure through promotion and business activities as per the marketing plan.Analyzing sales and customer activity data to monitor progress against objectives and communicate information to SalesManager and Brand team; implement corrective action where necessary.Manage Co Op spend budgets with key customers to ensure maximum return on investment.Ensure continued and improved customer relationships.Planning of sales and detailing calls through Repwise.Measure and achieve call coverage and frequency.Timeous feedback reports submitted to the HCP Detail and Training Manager.Attend trade displays and presentations which can involve after hours and weekends when required.Taking accountability for enhancement of own knowledge pertaining to the role through ongoing research and reading.Implement Bayer LIFE principles across the business.Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
AdministrationRecording of weekly and monthly planners using the Repwise system.Ensure a clear understanding of all SOP s and company policiesComplete routine administration tasks on time and accurately.These include but are not limited to :Repwise planningPlacing ordersConcur expensesAttend to emailsSubmitting reports (marketing feedback, sample trackeTeamworkEnsure effective communication with Trade Marketing, Bayer Sales Teams (Op Leads & KAM’s), 3rd Party Sales & Merchandising and the Brand teamStrong sharing of key account initiatives and methods within the Bayer sales teamReportingQuarterly reporting of territory performance and strategyComplete reports and projects as required by the SFE managerValue addedUnderstand the internal measures by customers to better drive the respective customer performanceJointly identify with Trade Marketing and the Brand Team on any category opportunities that unlock growth against the key BayerPoint Of Purchase driverProduct detailing (All Bayer Consumer brands)NPD launchesDistributionSecondary Placement ExecutionParticipating in congresses, expos, shows or any other activity required by the companyEnsure you have sufficient knowledge of our Patient Information leaflets and achieve a pass rate of 85% on Bayer internal questionnaires relating to the PIL's.Qualifications Required :
Must have Matric and a relevant tertiary qualificationA Life Sciences or Health Sciences qualification will be an advantageExperience in Pharmaceutical is essentialMinimum 3 years relevant Pharmacy OTC and / or Pharmacy Groups / Key AccountsExperience within a multinational Pharma company preferredStrong detailing / training skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills,Good communication skills,Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.Excellent customer relationshipsAnalytical skills and ability to work within budgetsStrong computer skills (MS Office)Code 08 (E1) Driver s LicenseSales / Retail / Business Development jobs
