DevOps Engineer

A leading technology-driven organisation is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their growing technology team based in Centurion. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who is passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and improving software delivery within a secure and high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Manage and optimise cloud and on-premise infrastructure
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot production issues
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
• Maintain documentation of environments and processes

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability role
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments
• Familiarity with Git version control
