Job descriptionAre you a driven and detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain optimization and production planning? A leading company in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a Production Planner to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing production environment that values efficiency, innovation, and excellence. Develop and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource utilization Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, and manufacturing teams to align production plans with material availability Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to address potential bottlenecks or delays Analyse capacity and forecast production requirements to meet customer demand Maintain accurate planning data in ERP systems Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and operational efficiency BEng in Industrial Engineering, BCom in Supply Chain, or an equivalent qualification 2+ years of experience in a production planning or supply chain environment, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sectors Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Production / Manufacturing jobs
