About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial operations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as required.
- Identify areas for process improvement in financial operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
