Job descriptionQualified Registered nurse with proof of qualification and paid‑up member of SANC Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role 2 – 3 traceable references on your application / resume Excellent patient service and professionalism High level time management, organising and administrative skills Proficient in Microsoft Office software, internet‑based applications Exceptional written & verbal communication skills; bilingual in English & Afrikaans, another official language will be advantageous Resilience to work in a highly structured and pressurised environment Effective public presentations; able to facilitate group discussions and knowledge of grant and proposal writing Professional attitude and appearance Valid Code 8 driver’s licence and own transport Non‑smoker

Contract position (12months) based in the CANSA Cape Metro office in Athlone
Duties & Responsibilities
- Clinical support to patients
- Screenings at Community Clinics, CANSA office / Mobile Clinic and Corporate Wellness
- Health Promotion Campaigns
- Home-Based Care Programme
- Marketing and Networking
- Support stakeholders and professional volunteers to improve services in the communities
- Support Stoma Clinic and walk-in clients
