Chief Accountant

Lexdan Select is assisting a Renewable Energy company with their search for a Chief Accountant, based in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.

The role is technical in nature, with a primary focus on financial closing and reporting across multiple subsidiaries, rather than on budgeting or forecasting.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the monthly, and annual financial closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Coordinate with auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements in all financial reporting activities.
