Engineer in Training

SUMMARY :

An exciting position has opened for a keen Engineer in Training to join a multidivisional firm with highly focuses teams that specialize in diverse designs

POSITION INFO :

Assisting with the installation of new multi-million-rand machinery and technology

Overseeing engineering and technical projects

Ensuring customer satisfaction with all engineering work

Creating and executing project schedules and forecasts

Coordinating and verifying engineering deliverables

Providing weekly updates on project progress and changes

Handling the planning, scheduling, and coordination of both technical and management project aspects

Helping prepare proposals for engineering projects and machinery acquisitions

Supporting the coordination of pricing, estimating, and scoping for projects, and developing technical specifications

Assisting with the preparation or revision of reports, plans, schedules, environmental impact studies, permits, and designs

Executing engineering projects successfully

Communicating regularly with clients, customers, and suppliers, both locally and internationally

Taking charge of commissioning and operating multi-million-rand machinery and plants

Skills & Experience :

Knowledgeable about ISO procedures

Strong communication skills at all organizational levels

Effective negotiation skills

Ability to think logically and make rational decisions

Proficient in computer use, particularly Excel and CAD software

Assertive and straightforward

Qualification :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or .
