What You Will Be Doing

  • Serve as a strategic partner to functional leaders, providing day-to-day support on performance, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance, and counselling matters in line with South African labour legislation.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to forecast and fulfil staffing needs that align with business and employment equity goals.
  • Facilitate performance management processes and coach line managers on development and retention strategies.
  • Embed the company\'s culture framework and drive employee engagement through localised interventions.
  • Support workforce planning and leverage people analytics to provide insights on turnover and productivity.
  • What You Will Bring To The Table

  • A Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, ideally within the retail, logistics, or healthcare sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA) and HR compliance practices.
  • Experience with transformation, skills development, and equity legislation.
  • A proven ability to build trust and credibility with business leaders and employees.
  • Excellent business acumen and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, high-change environment.
