Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting biological data to contribute to the information required by the Research Ecologist whilst hosting and involving volunteers and / or addition this position will assist in running the Volunteer Bio-monitoring Programme and camp operations on the Reserve. This position reports directly to the Bio-monitoring Manager and will liaise with the Research Ecologist on a regular basis. The incumbent is required to work without supervision and must therefore be self-motivated responsible and of general sober habits.

Essential Qualifications & Experience Degree in Wildlife Biology Conservation Ecology or a related field. Demonstrated experience in data handling and ecological analysis Experience managing or mentoring groups in outdoor settings. Valid drivers license with 4x4 driving experience. Desirable Experience working with academic research institutions. First Aid or Wilderness First Responder certification. Familiarity with camera trap software telemetry or drone use. Key Competencies Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Comfortable living and working in remote outdoor environments. Organised self-motivated and solution-oriented. Passionate about wildlife conservation and community engagement. Effective communicator with cross-cultural teams.
