SUMMARY :

Software Developer position available at an International company. Electronic / Mechatronic engineer required with a minimum of 10 years of working experience in MATLAB / Simulink software development for embedded controllers used in the automotive environment.

POSITION INFO :

Lead Software Developer : Automotive Controls

Centurion

International company. Embedded development, -verification and -maintenance of software on the display hardware. Skills needed in RTOS and microprocessor designs

Qualification :

B Eng. Degree in Mechatronic / Electronic (M-preferred)
Willing to travel overseas for variable periods
Minimum 10 years experience in embedded design
Proficient in MATLAB / Simulink
Knowledge of J1939 CAN communication and associated test tools / equipment.

Responsibilities :

Embedded software development for products in the automotive environment

Take ownership of the software development for the product portfolio

Responsible for the development, -verification and -maintenance of software

Field- and verification testing

Support software development

Work with controller hardware suppliers during product development
