Governance & Leadership Fellow – Creative Boards Program (Pilot)

We are looking for professionals passionate about leadership, governance, and driving meaningful transformation in South Africa.

BoardConnect is launching the Creative Boards & Fellowship Program — an initiative that prepares the next generation of ethical, innovative, and impactful board leaders.

This program blends art, governance, and leadership development to reimagine how young professionals engage with boardrooms and advisory spaces.

Who should apply?

• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree (any discipline).
• Have 5+ years of working experience (corporate, entrepreneurship, or social sector).
• Demonstrated leadership potential (through work or community roles).
• Volunteering, civic, or creative engagement (advantageous).
• Young adults committed to learning and service.

Program Highlights

Governance bootcamps covering King IV, ESG, fiduciary duties & transformation.

Creative & experiential labs (using art, music, and storytelling as tools for ethical leadership).

Board shadowing opportunities with NPOs, SMEs, and creative organisations.

Capstone projects tackling real governance challenges.

Digital portfolio to track your journey and build a verified governance profile.
