Your day at NTT DATA

The Financial Accountant is an experienced professional who supports the preparation of routine financial reports, manages journal entries, facilitates month‑end, and performs balance sheet reconciliations.

The primary focus of this role is to assist in the financial accounting of treasury transactions across the group and ensure accurate reporting for designated holding companies.

Key responsibilities

• Plans month‑end activities which includes the preparation and processing of month‑end journal entries and executing a variety of actions in the accounting system.
• Prepares and processes treasury related transactions in our ERP system (SAP). Reconciles back to Treasury reports and follows up on any variances.
• Reconciles accounts, resolves discrepancies and collaborates across various finance and non‑finance functions.
• Reconciles intercompany accounts and is responsible for ensuring all reconciling items are cleared.
• Analyzes journals, produces data analysis and reports and assists with variance analysis.
• Assembles the annual audit information for external auditors, including dealing with accounting issues such as calculation of impairment on loans and investment in subsidiaries.
• Recommends improvements to accounting efficiency using automation.
• Implements effective financial controls, including system reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.
• Performs any other relevant task as requested by management.
