Job descriptionQualified CA(SA) , registered with SAICA 35 years post-articles experience in finance / accounting Proven experience in internal controls, process documentation, and audit preparation Strong knowledge of IFRS and compliance requirements Experience with ERP / financial systems (SAP or similar) Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or production industries preferred Self-starter with initiative, accountability, and attention to detail Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills High integrity and professionalism Play a key role in shaping financial processes and controls that support growth Hands-on exposure across accounting, reporting, and operational efficiency initiatives Opportunity to mentor and grow a finance team in a dynamic, high-impact environment Work in a collaborative and supportive culture that values accuracy, integrity, and innovation
What Youll Do :
- Manage recording and reporting of all financial transactions in compliance with IFRS
- Ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting
- Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and variance analysis
- Prepare management reports and dashboards to inform decision-making
- Identify weaknesses in existing processes and implement fit-for-purpose internal controls
- Document workflows, accounting processes, and SOPs to strengthen accountability
- Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
- Support audits with thorough preparation and engagement with auditors
- Conduct credit risk reviews and monitor collections and exposure
- Mentor and train finance team members to enhance skills and operational discipline
- Introduce dashboards and process automation to improve efficiency and transparency
