OnSite Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, highly driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing team in the email marketing / marketing automation industry. This person will be tasked with generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound leads, and supporting our sales funnel to help scale revenue and customer outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach
Generate new leads through cold calls, emails, social media outreach (e.g. LinkedIn), and other outbound channels.
Research and build lists of target companies and decision-makers.
Lead Qualification
Respond to inbound enquiries. Screen and qualify leads based on predefined criteria (e.g. budget, size, industry, need).
Schedule and set up meetings or demos for the senior sales team.
Pipeline Development
Maintain accurate and uptodate records in the CRM. Track outreach, followups, and lead status.
Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and feedback to optimise outreach messaging.
Collaboration & Feedback Loop
Provide insights to marketing / content teams on messaging that resonates (or doesnt). Suggest improvements.
Work closely with Sales Executives to hand over qualified leads and ensure smooth transitions.
Performance Targets
Meet monthly / quarterly KPIs for number of outreach attempts, meetings set, conversion rate, etc.
