Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Performance Marketing Manager to join their team. This pivotal role will be responsible for strategising, executing and managing all paid media campaigns with the primary goal of driving new customer acquisition.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics or a related field.
- Google Ads, Meta Blueprint or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years of hands‑on performance marketing or paid media experience, ideally in e‑commerce, gaming or high‑volume transaction business.
- Experience in the sports betting / iGaming industry or a closely related vertical is a significant advantage.
- Extensive experience managing acquisition channels including Google Ads and Meta Ads, a track record of scaling accounts profitably.
- Demonstrable experience managing media budgets exceeding R500k per month.
- Strong understanding of marketing measurement, tracking and attribution models (MMPs, server‑side tracking, GTM, etc.).
- Expertise in A / B testing of ad creative and landing pages.
- Highly analytical and data‑driven – proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and comfortable manipulating large data sets.
- Thorough knowledge of the South African media landscape, consumer behaviour and regulatory requirements for the online betting / gaming industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Develop & execute a performance marketing strategy : Drive high‑quality customer acquisition, focusing on measurable ROI and LTV.Budget ownership : Allocate spend across channels to maximize efficiency and growth.Research & optimisation : Conduct in‑depth market, competitor and customer research to identify new opportunities and optimise channel mix.Paid media campaign management :SEM – Google Ads (Search, Display, App campaigns, PMax).
Paid Social – Meta (Facebook / Instagram), Twitter / X, TikTok.Programmatic / Display – demand‑side platforms and direct inventory buys.App Marketing – ASO and install campaigns on iOS and Android.End‑to‑end lifecycle – audience targeting, creative testing, bidding strategies and landing page optimisation.Partner with creative team to maintain a pipeline of high‑performing ad creative compliant with channel best practices and regulatory requirements.Analytics, reporting & technology :Monitor, analyse and report on key metrics (CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, ROAS, etc.).
Use attribution tools and platforms (Google Analytics, MMPs such as Adjust or AppsFlyer) to track performance.Identify and implement new tools, technologies and ad formats to stay ahead of the curve.Present detailed performance reports and insights to senior management with clear strategic recommendations.Growth impact : Drive significant budget management and directly influence the company's bottom line in a dynamic, fast‑paced industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
