At ACG Architects, we believe that every part of our business from design to finance plays a role in shaping excellence. We're looking for an Intermediate Financial Accountant to join our Cape Town team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly and efficiently.

This role sits at the heart of our business, managing the day-to-day financial, transactional, and compliance activities for both ACG Architects and Archico (a small property company).

What you’ll do :

• Oversee the bookkeeping function
• Assist with invoicing
• Handle cashbook management and bank reconciliations
• Process payroll on Sage Pay
• Ensure VAT, PAYE, and SARS E-Filing compliance
• Prepare monthly management accounts, track expenses, and build financial dashboards
• Manage cashflow statements
• Assist with annual and mid-term budgets
• Manage creditors and debtors
• Prepare audit working papers for external accountants / auditors
• Oversee general financial administration (subscriptions, banking, software, etc.)
• Complete annual compliance submissions (BBBEE, Employment Equity, Workskills Plan, CETA Grant Funding)
• Assist with financial information for tenders

What you’ll bring :

• 5 years' experience in accounting or financial management
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel (advanced)
• Experience with Sage Pay and Fresh Projects (advantageous)
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently
