Dispatch Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Supervisor to join the dynamic team based in Montague Gardens.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain workflow by motivating drivers and vehicle loading assistants to work fast and correctly.
• Check that drivers and vehicle loading assistants are at work and report absentees timeously to the Logistics Manager.
• Ensure that drivers and vehicle loading assistants plus you are wearing clean undamaged protective clothing as per company policy.
• Assist the Logistics Manager in planning the daily dispatch routes and loading activities.
• Source completed invoices from invoicing personnel.
• Ensure that all routes are documented on the trip sheet allocated to the delivery route.
• Ensure that all individual orders are marked off on the correct invoice copy when loading.
• Coordinate and control loading of final orders.
• Ensure products are checked for deviations from quality standards such as labels, lot or batch numbers, and packaging before loading.
• Ensure all products are correctly weighed before loading.
• Ensure good housekeeping practices in the dispatch area.
• Implement and maintain measures to reduce wastage of and damage to stock being loaded.
• Ensure that temperature controls for the dispatch area and all products to be loaded are adhered to.
• Train new personnel in loading actions.

Package & Remuneration

Salary – R12000 – R13000 CTC.
