Reporting To : CEO

Job Overview :

My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Internal Team Manager to oversee and optimise the performance, structure, and output of our internal team. This strategic role will drive day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring strong internal discipline, smooth team coordination, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital marketing, people management, and performance metrics, combined with an understanding of HR processes and a knack for client engagement. This is a pivotal leadership role within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Management & Leadership

  • Oversee the daily activities of the internal team to ensure productivity, engagement, and efficient delivery.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to time management, staff morale, or team discipline.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Performance Monitoring & Coaching

Regularly assess individual and team output and work quality.

Deliver feedback and implement coaching strategies to support development.

  • Maintain high standards of work through structured evaluations and performance tracking.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Act as a point of contact for clients when needed, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Liaise between clients and internal team members to align expectations and outcomes.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and address concerns proactively.

    Resource Planning & Staffing

    Identify skill and capacity gaps within the team.

    Make recommendations on upskilling or hiring needs to meet business objectives.

    Discipline & HR Oversight

    Enforce company policies and professional standards across the team.

    Address disciplinary issues tactfully and within legal and ethical guidelines.

    Support a positive and inclusive work environment.

    Metrics & Reporting

  • Track, analyse, and report on operational and digital marketing performance metrics.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform leadership decisions and guide team strategy.
  • Cost & Software Management

  • Monitor internal software tools and resource usage to control operational costs.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies or redundancies.

    Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Streamline workflows and implement best practices in time management and project execution.
  • Align internal team operations with overall company objectives.

    Training & Development

    Facilitate continuous learning and upskilling within the team.

  • Keep team knowledge current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Proven experience in team management, HR, or operational leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing operations and key performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

    Ability to assess performance objectively and implement improvement plans.

  • Experience in client relationship management and service delivery.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

    Familiarity with tools related to marketing, project management, and performance reporting.

    Professional approach to handling disciplinary matters.

    Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and results.

    Background in HR or related fields is advantageous.

    Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field (certifications are a plus).
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in team leadership, digital marketing, or operations management.
  • Proficiency in reporting and data analysis.

    Strong leadership presence and the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

  • Confidence in managing client communication and internal performance evaluations.
  • Ability to work independently and report directly to the CEO.

    Familiarity with CRM, project management, and analytics software.
